You installed AVG Free on my computer... am I protected?
AVG Free Anti-virus is part of a great alternative for people who don't want to purchase a paid anti-virus suite. However AVG Free only protects against viruses, not malware, spyware, trojans, worms, etc. When you opt to not buy an anti-virus suite, we install Spybot and Malware Bytes on your computer in addition to AVG Free. This is the best protection we can provide without charging anything - but it does not provide the iron-clad and comprehensive protection that a full service paid anti-virus solution will. We usually recommend you scan once a week with these programs (and when you notice unusual popups or lagging) to ensure nothing sneaks into your system.

My program isn't there anymore!
When it's necessary to reformat a machine, we are forced to delete everything on it and start over. It can be confusing when you get your computer back and things don't look right. Icons are missing or rearranged, settings are different, etc. We can't always get it perfect, but we do our best.

If you are missing data, call us immediately. We leave your data backed up for a short time after your repair to allow you to use your computer and identify anything you think might be missing or different. We will happily work with you to get the information you need.
We cannot backup programs, only data. So printer software, Microsoft office, other specialty programs, etc. cannot be saved. However, we go to great efforts to save the data within these programs. Typically these programs have to be reinstalled with the original CD, DVD, or download. Once installed, the data we backed up becomes accessible.

Wait... it's still not working.
The robots haven't replaced us yet. Unfortunately, that means mistakes can still happen. If you get your computer back and are still having recurring issues, please give us a call at 903-295-1000. We warranty our work for 30 days and will do our best to make sure you get your computer back in good working order. All warranty issues are treated as Express Labor. This means they are given top priority and we begin working on them immediately.
